Buying artwork and prints through StrutGraphics.com

Whether paintings, drawings, or sculptures most artwork featured on StrutGraphics.com is available for sale. Often, drawings and paintings featured on StrutGraphics.com have reproductions  (also known as prints) available for sale.

As with "Original Works", we at StrutGraphics.com believe in giving artists and buyers the freedom to deal directly with each other if they wish when buying/selling prints. If both parties want to proceed in this way, StrutGraphics will provide the artist with the buyers contact information and will not charge any commission on the print sold.

However, understand that many artists and buyers would feel more comfortable with a third party facilitating the sale of artwork. What follows is a summary of how we would facilitate the sale of artwork in these circumstances:

  1. Buyer expresses interest in print
  2. Artist confirms availability of print to sell
  3. Buyer makes payment to StrutGraphics
  4. Artist sends print to buyer (the artist is responsible for the cost of postage and insurance)
  5. Once received, the buyer has a ten day approval period
  6. If the buyer is happy with the print the money is released by StrutGraphics.com to the artist minus an administration fee of 10% of the price of the print
  7. If the buyer decides that they do not wish to keep the print, they are responsible for the costs of returning the item to the artist (including insurance). Once the artist has received the print, StrutGraphics will provide a full refund to the buyer (this does not include the cost of returning the artwork back to the artist)
